In coming up with our ideal boat design, we explored the horizons of possibilities and compared and contrasted different structures and their benefits as well as our setbacks. In our thought process, we looked at different shapes for the boat. We considered a flat bottomed boat, but understood that it was limited based on the Physics principle of lifts and drags. We considered using water mills for the boat propulsion, but were limited due to cost and practicality.
